The SATA Data and Power Cable features a combination 22-pin SATA receptacle data and power connector as well as a small 4pin pitch 2.54mm power connector and SATA 7p receptacle data connector, allowing you to create a conventional Serial ATA data connection to a computer while powering the drive through a the 4pin connection power source with 2.54mm pitch connector.

Note 2 : The 4pin power connector is not floppy SP4 4pin type, but is a small 4pin at pitch 2.54mm connector. It is to be connected to 2.54mm pitch male connector at main board. The 4pin connection has 12V and 5V. Please check carefully on the pin assignment where Yellow is for 12V and Red is for 5V and ensure it is matched with the power source from your motherboard. Wrong pin assignment maybe harmful to your connected devices. If your 4pin connector power source is with different pin assignment, this cable shall not be used.
