This remote switch is an electronic shutter release. Besides being useful for preventing camera shake in slow shutter and close-up photography.

Operational Instruction:

Take out the the camera's remote-control terminal cover. Firmly insert the plug of the remote shutter into the camera's remote control terminal and turn your camera on. The remote shutter works in two levels: press the shutter halfway down to achieve focus, you will hear the focus beep and see the focus indicator in your camera's viewfinder; press the shutter complete down to activate shutter release. Press the shutter complete down and slide it forward will lock the shutter. This is particular useful when you need to use long time exposure (bulb).
